Hello, I’m Marion, I’m 26 years old and I’m from the beautiful city of Lille! I studied in Paris and abroad before finally coming back home. After graduating from high school, I did a two-year diploma in marketing. Then, I moved to Seville to study for a semester. I obtained a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Marketing and Communications during which I had the opportunity to do a 6-month internship in a farm in Australia.

After these 4 years of studies, I realized my dream: to leave alone with my backpack in South America. It has been 6 months of meetings, hikes and breathtaking landscapes! When I came back in France, I went back to school and because I was very interested in purchasing, so I finished my studies with a Master’s degree in a work-study program at Monoprix. Back to reality! After graduation, I started my new life as a grown-up girl with a permanent contract in a catering network as a Purchaser and Plant Manager. There, I managed all the purchasing and logistic flows (food and packaging).

About a year later, a former collaborator put me on the path of Simon Dewavrin, co-founder of Horse Pilot.

Your role at Horse Pilot

I am a Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator at Horse Pilot. My main missions are the analysis of the sales and forecasts, suppliers purchases, follow-up of the goods flows, follow-up of the stocks and I also play the role of intermediary between Horse Pilot and Addvance (our ERP).

In addition to that, I am very invested in the CSR project of the company. I work closely with Julia, our HR Manager, to obtain a label.

Your relationship to horseback riding

I’ve never had the opportunity to really practice horseback riding. However, I really like horses and I sometimes ride them during my vacations. Well, I have to admit that I am not always very reassured!

Your passion for sports

I regularly play squash and badminton at the end of the day or on weekends. A good way to decompress after work! I love nature and beautiful landscapes so I also love hiking.

Your favorite Horse Pilot outfit

Apart from the Anniversary Sweatshirt which I’m a real fan of because it’s so comfortable and stylish, I haven’t really embellished my wardrobe with Horse Pilot products yet. However, I’ve planned to buy a new product coming out very soon that will be very useful for my outdoor activities.

“We’ll sleep when we’re dead” – As you can see, I’m more of an active person!
