By naming its traditional horse show “the Cossé Brissac”, created in 1932, the Étrier de Paris pays tribute to Count Maurice de Cossé Brissac, founder in 1895 of this legendary club. Located in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne, a few steps away from the Eiffel Tower, this competition has established itself over the years as the essential Parisian meeting place for the great French show jumping riders, such as the emblematic Virginie COUPERIE, Roger-Yves BOST, Philippe ROZIER, Éric NAVET, Jean-Marc NICOLAS, Cédric and Christophe HUREL, Alexandra LEDERMANN and Patrice DELAVEAU, who have competed there. In 2018, Emeric GEORGE took the first place in the 1m40 Grand Prix on Sunday, with STEP UP DE L’HERIBUS, closely followed by Cédric ANGOT and AZARD DES SOURCES. Since 2018, “Le Cossé Brissac” now takes place over four days and the 2021 edition will feature several high-level Pro events, including the 1m40 Grand Prix on Friday and 1m45 on Sunday. Throughout the weekend, passionate riders and the general public can attend this show free of charge. The Étrier de Paris will provide a parking lot for visitors, and will offer various food and beverage options on site.
