Hello, I’m Annabelle! I am 35 years old and I live near Toulouse, in the Gers countryside. After my high school diploma, I obtained an Advanced Technician’s Certificate and a Bachelor’s degree in equine product business. Then, I was a groom for about ten years: I started as Head-Girl/Competiton Groom for Andrew Nicholson (NZL).

During 6 years I could live my biggest dreams before leaving to help other eventers as a Freelance Groom around the world (Oliver Townend, Austin O’Connor, Tom McEwen, the Chinese national team, and many others…). The Covid crisis, the report of the Tokyo Olympic Games and a job offer at Horse Pilot convinced me to settle down. I integrated the team in March 2021.

Your role at Horse Pilot

I joined the Horse Pilot team as a Sales Representative for the South of France. I visit our retailers in this area and try to help them distribute the brand in the best possible conditions. The most fun in this job is to meet people; to present them a varied range of products always more innovative and technical for the practice of our common passion; to make them grow by setting up operations which correspond to them and make us progress together.

Your relationship to horseback riding

I started to ride when I was very young and I quickly became passionate about eventing at the highest level. My life around horses has been strongly marked by the career of two great champions, Nereo and Avebury, winners of the biggest, most beautiful and mythical eventing competitions in the world on several occasions.

Your passion for sports

I was very athletic, especially when I was a groom, because it is a very physical job! I used to complete my days with morning run in low season, between cleaning the stables and the daily marathon. Today I ride a little bit.

Your favorite Horse Pilot outfit

I love the jackets, all of them… (Element , Essential, Fahrenheit,…) as well as the Optimax. I am also a fan of the X-Balance!

“Work Hard, Dream Big and Make It Happen“! That was my mantra during my grooming years.
