Horse Pilot on tour!
From Wellington to Oliva, passing by Vilamoura and Royan … the tours are triumphant for our pilots!
THE SUN IS SHINING ACROSS THE ATLANTIC!
On the famous Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington side, Quentin Judge would almost put the palm trees in the shade! Indeed, our ambassador of the Double H Farm was classified during each week-end labeled 5*. Maggie Jayne has also shone in her favorite discipline, hunter, where she is recognized as one of the best riders of her generation.
TRICOLORS IMPOSE THEMSELVES IN THE IBERIAN PENINSULA!
He told (just here) us last November that 2018 would be a pivotal year for him, Harold Boisset starts the outdoor season in a bang! With more than 20 rankings at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva, he starts this new year in the best possible way to, perhaps, achieve his goal: To take part of more and more CSI 5*. seconds and first place … He has not left much luck to others, regardless of the label (YH, 2 *, 3 *).
More in the west, it is our amazon with the blue jacket who shone! Very good 2* and 3* performances for Félicie Bertrand, who has made the show with Sultane des Ibis. Two second places in Grand Prix classes have been acquired brilliantly.
WEATHER WASN’T A STUMBLING BLOCK.
Part of the equestrian scene had been meeting a fortnight ago at the Royan Horse Club for three beautiful competition weeks. It was without taking Mother Nature into account who did not give a gift to our Pilots … They did not turn back so far!
It was more stronger than ever that Charles-Henri Fermé embarked upon Royan’s arenas and has, as usual, won many awards in its path. Ranked in the Sunday Grand Prix twice but also victorious in speed classes, the Norman is never missing on the podiums!
His colleague Grégory Cottard also flew over the obstacles and was second in the 2* Grand Prix last Sunday. He was fifth the week before on the same ultimate event. Our brand new airbag ambassador, Philippe Rozier, also placed 6th on 2* fences.
They were not the only ones to have braved the bad weather. On the other side of France, Guillaume Foutrier was brilliant for the first week of the Villeneuve-Loubet Tour. We found the northerner almost ten times in the rankings and especially in third position of the 2* Grand Prix. Not to mention that we also saw him on the top step of the podium a few minutes later, at the end of the 1* final.
LONGINES MASTERS, CSIO, WORLD CUP STEP…
Our ambassadors have also come forward at the most prestigious world competitions:
? Olivier Robert has made us proud with his three beautiful crankings at the Hong Kong Longines Masters. A fourth, sixth and twelfth place for the friendly Aquitain.
? Shane Breen came back to Ireland with a nice seventh position at Abu Dhabi’s CSIO 5*.
? Not forgetting Cedric Angot who also earned a very honorable seventh position on Gothenburg World Cup’s arena.
Can’t wait to see what is next and wish you that the 2018 season will be equal to your expectations! Challenge your riding!
