The Winter Equestrian Festival – WEF 2026

Every winter, Wellington International becomes the epicentre of world-class competition, where the best Olympic rider-horse pairs, world champions and promising hopefuls compete for over £16 million in prize money. From January to March, the Winter Equestrian Festival offers 13 weeks of FEI-sanctioned international show jumping competitions at our state-of-the-art facilities, while the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival offers 10 weeks of internationally renowned dressage competitions at the highest level of the discipline. Together, they form one of the most prestigious and influential equestrian circuits in the world.

Each year, Wellington International attracts a vibrant equestrian community, with participants from all 50 U.S. states and more than 34 countries. From November to April, visitors can enjoy free admission to high-level equestrian competitions. From May to October, the competitions continue at the Equestrian Village, which features a large grass derby field, riding arenas and an indoor arena.

Beyond its prestigious equestrian competitions, Wellington International offers a range of services, including VIP hospitality areas, versatile event spaces, restaurants, luxury boutiques and sponsorship programmes.
