French Amateur Championship Le Mans

Find the Horse Pilot stand during this first edition of the French Amateur Championship which will take place in Le Mans from July 18 to 24, 2022. As Laurent Gallice explains, the Amateur Championship will take place at the European Horse Pole in Le Mans unlike at the Generali Open de France which takes place in Lamotte-Beuvron: “The competition site of the European Pole of the Horse of Le Mans offers a good capacity of accommodation, catering and parking. In addition, the 500 permanent boxes and the quality of the reception facilities and the organization guarantee optimal conditions for friendly and quality championships”.

To qualify and participate in this Amateur Championship, both riders and horses will have to qualify throughout the year. A certain number of points is necessary, the accumulation of which is done through participation in competitions throughout the year.

On the program of this French Amateur Championship the three Olympic disciplines as well as the hunter.

• CSO: from Amateur 3 to Amateur Elite events
• Dressage: from Amateur 3 to Amateur Elite
• CCE: from Amateur 4 to Amateur Elite events
• Hunter: Amateur 3 to Amateur Elite and Style 2 to Style Elite events

Many activities are also planned throughout this Amateur Championship:

• Wednesday: parade and drink from the regions
• Friday: Western party
• Saturday: multisport tournaments and beach party
• Challenge for coaches throughout the championship
